Life Groups are more than just a class or meeting, they are the places where small groups of people can build relationships that go so much further. As people grow in their knowledge of God’s Word and have a lot of fun; they also grow in their relationships with one another which results in “living life together,” the basis for the title “Life Groups.”
Our Life Groups are places where we study the Bible, pray together and share life experiences in a more intimate setting than our regular worship services. It is a place where we can all come as we are.Find a Group
Water Baptism is a public declaration of your decision to follow Jesus. At First Assembly Church we encourage all those who have made a commitment to let Jesus be the Lord of their life to take this important step. We believe in baptizing by immersion (going completely under the water) because it is the model shown in the Bible and the way Jesus Himself was baptized, according to scripture. We also believe that baptism should be the choice of the individual, so we ask that participants be old enough to make the decision for themselves rather than by a parent or guardian.
At First Assembly Church, water baptism takes place on the fourth Sunday of every month during the morning worship service. All participants are required to attend the water baptism instruction, which is announced from the Worship Center at the beginning of the morning message. A complete change of clothes is available for those participating in water baptism, but we recommend participants bring their own change of clothes to ensure comfort during the water baptism experience. If you would like to be baptized or have questions about the water baptism experience contact the church office at firstname.lastname@example.org or at 636.936.1912.
At First Assembly Church we believe that one of the best ways to get connected is to find a place to serve alongside others. Check out the opportunities below to find your place to serve!
