  • Jeremy Mount  

    Lead Pastor

    Jeremy and his wife Amy are lead pastors of First Assembly Church. They have served the Lord in ministry for 19 years in Florida, Texas, and now Missouri after accepting the call to come to First Assembly Church in September of 2018. Jeremy and Amy both attended Southeastern University, where they studied Education and the Bible. Their ministry is marked by their devotion to loving people, declaring the gospel of Jesus, and helping people develop their leadership potential to impact the kingdom of heaven. Pastor Jeremy thrives on preaching the Word in creative and inspiring ways to help Christians, young and old, understand Biblical truths in order to reach up in worship, reach in serving one another, and reach out to change the world!


    Jeremy and Amy have been married for 20 years and have two children, Chloe and Ethan. Their family loves spending time together, traveling (mainly to the beach), and rooting on their Ohio State Buckeye Football team.  Email Pastor Jeremy.

  • Sarah Clark

    Executive Pastor of Ministry Development

    Pastor Sarah has served at First Assembly Church since June of 2005. She is a native of St. Charles and returned to the area after completing a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Bible and Pastoral Ministries at Central Bible College in Springfield, Missouri. She was married to David Clark in January of 2008, welcomed daughter Mackenzie in 2012, and Alexis in 2016. Pastor Sarah has worked with College Ministries at Drury University and Missouri State University, and also held the position of Recreational Evangelism Minister for Grace Church plant in Rogersville, Missouri. Her passion is for meeting people where they are and bringing them to a place of understanding their need for Christ. She oversees the smooth day-to-day operations in the church office and facilitates the development and growth of all the ministries at First Assembly Church.   • Steve FLores 

    EXECUTIVE Pastor of Church LIfe

    Pastor Steve and his wife, Tara, joined the staff at First Assembly Church in July of 2019 from Lewisville, Texas. They both share the call of God upon their lives to minister together to serve not only the people of First Assembly but also the surrounding community. They have been married since September of 2010 and are blessed to be the parents of their two children, Liam and Valentina.


    Steve is a passionate communicator that specializes in leadership development, teaching God's Word, and creating systems to improve overall church functions and growth. He has over 13 years of ministry experience in mega-church platforms where he served in multiple leadership capacities. Under his leadership, he inspires people to cultivate a passion for God's House while leading ministry departments with order and structure to ensure that all guests feel at home at church.


    Steve is known for his patriotism as an American, his immense love for his family, his personal disciplines and is a peoples person. He enjoys the outdoors, being a father, reading, traveling, and teaching together with his wife. His constant leadership/teaching points are about walking in Christ's wholeness, health and freedom.

  • Angie Kraft  

    executive Director of Finance & Business Operations

    Angie and her husband, Todd, live in O’Fallon, and they are blessed with four children, Dalton, Ryan, Mallory, and Josie. They have been attending First Assembly Church since their move to this area in August of 2003. After completing a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting and Business Administration at Drury University in Springfield, Missouri, Angie served in the government/non-profit sector for 10 years. Following this position, she joined the staff at St. Charles First Assembly in July of 2004 and manages the financial aspects of the church with excellence! Email Angie.

  • Patrick Daniels

    Students and young adults pastor

    Patrick joined the staff at First Assembly Church as the Student Ministry Pastor in the spring of 2019 after serving as a Youth Pastor in South St. Louis County for 4 years. As a Students Pastor and Young Adults Pastor, his ministry is defined by seeing students grades 6-12 and young adults aged 18-30 come to know their identity in Christ through the Gospel, helping them discover the purpose God has created them for, and to help them discover the encouragement and empowerment available to them to fulfill that purpose through the power of the Holy Spirit. Pastor Patrick believes that young people have a significant role to play in the Church and that this generation is tremendously blessed and gifted to carry out the commission of Christ in their homes, schools, and communities in person and online.  

     

    Patrick has been married to his wife Ashley for over 10 years, and they have 3 children; Nathan, Cody, and Chloe. He recently completed serving a 12 year enlistment in the US Air Force as a technical expert in Information Technology. Patrick enjoys spending time with his family, playing guitar, and watching Star Wars.

  • Rob Purcell 
    first kids' Pastor  

    Pastor Rob and Shelly joined the staff at First Assembly Church in August 2011. They have been married since June of 2002 and are the proud parents of three children, Aleaha, Gabriel, and Eden. Pastor Rob and Shelly graduated from Central Bible College in Springfield, MO. Pastor Rob has his Bachelor of Arts in Childrens’ Ministry and Bible. Shelly has her Associates of Arts in Childrens’ Ministry and Bible. Pastor Rob and Shelly are excited about the future of Childrens’ Ministry at St. Charles First Assembly. Their desire is to lift up the mission of this church, to declare and display the Gospel to everyone, everyday, everywhere.   • Lynette Black

    Early Childhood Director

    Lynette has 14 years of experience in kid’s ministry, a majority of which has been in early childhood and early elementary teaching and leadership. Lynette’s passion is creating an environment where children can discover Jesus’ love and God’s Word during their first years. She is dedicated to supporting families as they introduce their little ones to faith in Jesus Christ. One of her favorite things is experiencing life through a child’s eyes.

  • MIRANDA BELL

    Director of worship arts

    Pastor Miranda Bell is a joyful worshipper and a violinist/vocalist with over 30 years of experience in singing, playing, writing and recording music. She received the call into ministry in 2006 and has served in worship, tech and video ministry — both vocational and volunteer — for over 15 years. In October 2019, she began serving as vocal team lead with the First Worship Team. 


    In April 2021, Miranda joined the team as Director of Worship Arts. In her role, Miranda is focused on the pursuit of anointed excellence in our worship experiences and special events. Her goal is to help lead a team of passionate worshippers in leading and edifying God’s people through engaging music and creative elements and to help develop, create, and establish the systems and structures that support smooth-running worship services.


    Pastor Miranda celebrates the beauty that is evident in all of God’s people and is passionate about seeing the Kingdom advance. She enjoys seeing people functioning at their highest God-given capacities. She has her B.A. from Governors State University, her teaching certificate from UMSL, and is a commissioned minister currently pursuing her license to preach through Global University.


    PM and her husband Chris have been married for 12 years and together, they have three sons.  She is a walking thesaurus and self-proclaimed nerd who loves Jeopardy, basketball and Super Mario Bros. In her spare time, she loves teaching her old dog Mozart new tricks and making fun memories with her favorite people. Email Pastor Miranda.


  • Dishawn Payton 

    Music pastor/service producer

    Dishawn was born in St. Louis, MO. raised in Cincinnati, and is now residing in Saint Peters, MO. Many musicians have a specific memory of a moment or person who inspired them in music. Dishawn says, “I just happened to discover at a very young age that I had a sincere passion and heart for music.” Essentially, he was born with this love and talent. Dishawn is excited about the future of the music ministry at First Assembly Church. He has a servant's heart, and he has a true, sincere passion for ministry.   • Nick and liz salamone
    Worship Development Pastor/Executive administrative assistant

    Nick and Liz Salamone joined the staff in spring of 2021. Nick serves as Worship Development Director and Pastor, and Liz serves as Executive Administrative Assistant. With over 20 years in ministry experience Nick and Liz have served as  youth leaders and youth pastors. Nick has also served as worship leader within those 20 years. Nick and Liz’s heart is to fulfill the call on their lives by serving the body of Christ. Nick received his minister's license with the Assembly of God in 2017 through Global University. They live in St. Charles Missouri and have been married almost 21 years. They enjoy raising their five children, Cameron, Micah, Isiac, Jadon and Miya. In their spare time, Nick & Liz love to hang out with family & friends whether on the basketball court or playing music together or laughing around the dinner table. 

  • Katie Fortuna

    Recovery Pastor

    Katie Fortuna joined the staff of First Assembly Church in 2019. She serves as the pastor of Celebrate Recovery and oversees all other recovery ministries of First Assembly Church. She is currently enrolled in Global University and is also a successful Real Estate Agent. She has been married over 20 years to her husband Doug, who is an avid outdoorsman. they have been blessed with two daughters, Faith and Grace. Katie loves teaching people who they are in Christ and how to live in freedom through Jesus. She is passionate about helping those who struggle with hurts, hang ups and habits. Email Pastor Katie.

  • Robert poe

    facilities manager

    Pastor Robert Poe has been attending First Assembly for over 3 years and was brought on staff after completing his ministerial certification through Global University/Berean Bible College. During his time with the church, he has served in various ministries, including the creative arts, early childhood development, baptisms and new membership orientation. His passion is for the people - helping them find a home at First Assembly and to feel warm and welcome from the moment they arrive. As Facilities Manager, Robert oversees building needs for services, programs and events. He also is actively involved with the creative elements needed within the church. He and his wife Shelly have three children, Darren, Audra and Sierra, as well as three grandbabies, Romeo, Chevelle and Huxley. Email Pastor Robert.

  • JACOB & ANGELINA YARBROUGH

    associate pastors

    Jacob Yarbrough was raised in Oklahoma City, OK and graduated from Oral Roberts University in 2013, with a Bachelor of Arts in Music and a minor in Biblical Studies. Since 2012, he has served in various ministry roles as Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor and Music Director. He has also served in missions overseas to six different countries. Jacob is a Certified Personal Trainer and owner of Freedom Fitness and Wellness, LLC.  

     

    Angelina Yarbrough was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV and graduated from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in 2014, with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a minor in Journalism. She has served alongside Jacob in Associate Pastor, Youth Pastor and Music ministry roles, and, was a keynote speaker for Girls Ministry. She currently works for Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis and teaches group fitness classes at a few gyms in the area. Email Pastors Jacob & Angelina.

  • David Steinmeyer

    Communications and marketing director

    David joined the staff of First Assembly in January 2021 but has been able to call FAC home since May 2019. Before then, he attended the University of Missouri and graduated in 2018 with a B.A. in Religious Studies and minors in Business and History. At Mizzou, he served with Chi Alpha Campus Ministries as a Small Group Leader for two years where he developed an incredible passion for community, discipleship, and both private and corporate worship. 


    It is through Chi Alpha that David met his incredible wife, Amanda, and have been able to serve in ministry throughout their relationship. They married in February 2019 and are expecting their first child this upcoming September! Previously, David served in various leadership positions at Chick-fil-A Bridgeton.

     

    David serves as the Communications and Marketing Director, where he develops and executes plans to fulfill the church's mission through different media platforms, including graphic design, website development, church database management, social media management, and internal and external communications for the church. He longs to see the Church on earth look like it will in heaven — a people who are diverse in their stories and backgrounds but unified with one heart to worship Jesus with their lives.

     

    Currently, David is pursuing his ministry credential through Global University. In his spare time, he loves to play video games, read, watch cooking shows (maybe trying a recipe or two himself), and watch sports, whether a local basketball game or a STL Cardinals baseball game. Email David.

  • Kari Mcintosh

    administrative coordinator

    Kari joined the staff at First Assembly Church in September of 2020, but she has grown up in and been a part of this church since she was in second grade in 1994. Upon completing her Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education at Wheaton College in 2009, God called Kari onto the mission field overseas, where she served at Dakar Academy, a school built primarily for missionary kids, in Senegal, West Africa. 


    Kari met her husband, Josh, in Senegal, and as the saying goes, the rest is history.  They married in 2012, welcomed boy/girl twins, Nolan and Quin in 2015, and Mia in 2018. During her time in Senegal, Kari served in many roles, including: teacher, coach, librarian, student drama evangelism team leader, dorm relief parent, and worship team member.  


    Simply put, Kari has a heart for sharing the Good News, so that all may hear, whether it be locally or internationally. Until she and her family move on to South Africa, where God has called them next, Kari enjoys coming alongside the pastors, helping them with whatever tasks need to be done to fulfil the Mission, whether that be making signs, entering data, or mailing letters. In her spare time, Kari enjoys playing sports, hiking with her family, traveling, or drinking coffee — on the deck, by the fire, in her bed, at her desk, in the car, at a coffee shop — all the time!
