FIRST KIDS

The heart of children's ministry at our church is to teach kids about who God is and how His word applies to their lives in creative and memorable ways. Through engaging teaching, supportive environments, and close knit small group classes, we guide kids towards a better understanding of what it means to have a real relationship with God. We want kids to know that the Bible is full of interesting stories that matter in their lives today, that fun and games are definitely allowed at church, that worship can be full of loud music and silly dancing, and that there are adults in the church who truly want to love and lead them closer to Jesus. In other words, we want them to know that where God is, life is a lot more fun!

EARLY CHILDHOOD

Early Childhood is our Nursery and Pre-K program and is divided into age appropriate classes for children infant-5 years. In Early Childhood, your child will learn who God is and what He has done for us. Our toddler class is also designed to teach life skills such as: color and letter identification, music knowledge, and motor skills. Preschool is full of fun activities to get the kids moving. We sing songs, play games, and have engaging lessons about God.

ELEMENTARY

First Kids - Elementary is a lively setting where our elementary children learn and experience who God is according to the Bible. In First Kids, your child will interact with the lesson through songs, object lessons, games, and so much more!

Small groups

On Wednesday nights we have Life Groups for kids. We use the Girls Ministry and the Royal Rangers curriculum. Boys and girls have their own age appropriate discussion on God and real life situations. The kids earn badges that go along with their lessons.

FAMILY REGISTRATION

To ensure the safety of all children participating in our First Kids programs, we require families to check-in and check-out children using an assigned family ID. If you are planning on visiting First Assembly Church or are new to our kids programs, please allow some extra time to complete the registration process. You will be assigned a family ID that will be available at the First Kids Elementary or Early Childhood Welcome areas upon your arrival on Sunday morning or Wednesday evening.
